Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
This policy explains what CADigital City collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website, the CADigital OS application at os.cadigitalcity.com, and the LURA game on the web and on Google Play.
Who we are
CADigital City operates cadigitalcity.com, os.cadigitalcity.com and lura.cadigitalcity.com, and publishes the LURA app on Google Play. You can reach us at trebymunya@gmail.com for anything in this policy, including a request to see or delete your data.
What we collect on this website
- When you ask for a free score. Your name, email address, the option you choose for what you need help with, and your consent to be contacted. We also record the time of submission and basic browser information.
- When you buy something. Your name, email, billing details and order history, handled through WooCommerce. Card details are entered on the payment provider systems and never reach our servers.
- When you browse. Standard traffic data through Google Analytics and Site Kit, such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. This is used in aggregate to understand what people find useful.
What the LURA game collects
LURA works without an account and without giving us your name. Two things are worth being clear about.
- Playing on your own. Your progress, streak and accuracy are stored only in your own browser or device. We never see them, and clearing your browser data removes them.
- Playing online with others. If you create or join a room you choose a display name, which is visible to everyone in that room. That name, a room code and the state of the game are stored temporarily so the board stays in sync. We recommend a first name or nickname rather than a full name, particularly for younger players.
LURA has no advertising, no in-app purchases and no third party trackers.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Google Firebase, for the live multiplayer rooms in LURA.
- Google Analytics and Google Site Kit, for website traffic measurement.
- Brevo, Klaviyo and Mailchimp, where you have consented to email contact.
- Payment providers including Paystack, PayFast, PayPal and Stripe, for purchases.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database.
These providers act on our instructions. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for anyone else marketing purposes.
Children
Some LURA boards are written for younger players. The game asks for no personal information to play. If a child uses an online room, the only thing shared is the display name they type in. If you are a parent or guardian and would like a display name removed, email us and we will do it.
How long we keep things
- Enquiry and score requests: kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted on request.
- Order records: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- LURA game rooms: temporary, and removed once a room is finished or abandoned.
- Website analytics: retained according to the Google Analytics settings on the account.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act in South Africa, and under the GDPR if you are in the United Kingdom or European Union, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link. To exercise any of these, email trebymunya@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This website uses cookies to keep your shopping basket working, to remember preferences, and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may stop parts of the shop from working.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Access to the systems that hold personal information is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, say so on the site.
