Digital Growth
There is a specific kind of frustration that comes from being good at what you do and still watching the work dry up. You know your quality. Your customers know your quality. A competitor whose work is worse keeps getting the calls.
That gap is almost never about quality. It is about being findable, and then being convincing once you are found.
Word of mouth did not stop working, it moved
When someone recommends you today, the customer does not phone you. They look you up first. They search your name, they check your Google listing, they open your social profiles to see whether you still exist. If nothing comes up, or what comes up was last touched in 2023, the referral dies quietly.
This is the part business owners underestimate most. Your online presence is not there to attract strangers. Its first job is to catch the warm leads you are already earning.
Four things, in order
- Be findable. A complete Google Business Profile with real photographs, current hours, correct services and genuine reviews.
- Be credible. A place that belongs to you and not to a platform.
- Be present. Consistent rather than constant.
- Be convincing. Make the next step obvious.
The order is the whole point. Effort spent on step three while step one is broken is effort thrown away.
Where to start
